One of my top 5 games of all time is Oblivion and what makes it so good? The amazing storytelling? Voice acting? Culture, religion, lore, combat, art style just everything! My first play through, about 3 years ago, was logged at almost 90 hours and that included the Shivering Isles expansion. Is it worth going through again? Yes, I think so thanks to the new Elder Scrolls novel that is out that I have been reading. There is just so much to do in the game with all the loot to find to boot. The game is also huge, and there’s just so many different choices to make in the game. Should you pick up Oblivion? Sure why not? Even if you’re lazy you can buy it on the Game on Demand section on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for $30. Pick up the Game of the Year Edition (look for the black cover) and get all the available DLC with it. Or if you REALLY want to pick up the BioShock/Oblivion combo pack (that is if you haven’t played BioShock). There’s so much to love about Oblivion that I just can’t describe it enough. Sure it may feel a bit dated these days, but so what? Here I go to save Tamriel from sheer Oblivion once again.
This picture is dedicated to our dog, Mickey. If I had to take any companion into the depths of Oblivion with me it would be you, my friend.
