For Fans Of: Diarrhea, Bears, Buying Other Games
Available Exclusively On
The Good: Great cut scenes with fun characters, witty dialog, exploding rainbow heads never get old
The Bad: Terrible controls, awful graphics, ludicrously difficult, cramped corridors
The original Battle Bears had a great sense of humor with exploding rainbow heads, talking bears, and just awesome shooting action. -1 (trying to be funny instead of Battle Bears 2) removes those sandbags you hid behind and makes you mobile. This was the worst idea ever. The controls are funky, the game is almost impossible to play right off the bat at the first level, and the game is butt ugly.
All those bears were fun to shoot when they were coming at you before, but now in the cramped confusing corridors you can only shoot backward, and strafe so much before you get overwhelmed. What doesn’t help is that each bear takes a million bullets to kill and the bigger bears will overwhelm you and kill you quickly.
What they should have done is taken more time to make the game like a third person shooter and not like the last game, but instead you’re walking around. The graphics are flat and dull, but the only thing going for the game is the funny characters and witty dialog. There is an additional campaign to buy and an endless boss mode plus multiple characters, but the horrible gameplay will make you delete this before you even finish the first level. This game is no fun at all so don’t even waste your money here.
