Colors: White, Green, Red, Blue
I’ll be honest and say the green LED is what attracted me to this as my case had a green theme going on. I also liked the price and Antec fans have a good reputation. I picked up three of these to install inside my case and it was super painless.
When you open the box you get the fan, four silicone mounting grommets, and the cable is molex and 3-pin. As easy as you think it was to install, I held the fan to the spot I wanted and pulled the grommets through the holes. You can optionally cut the piece that’s sticking out, but I didn’t bother so I could reuse them. The grommets were really hard to pull through as you need to pull like you’ve never pulled before to get that stopped all the through. Installing three of these fans was a workout, but it got done.
I then connected the molex adapters to the PSU as I didn’t have enough pins on my motherboard. I then fired up the case and the fans just blew, not hummed, blew like a soft breeze. There’s no vibration and even if you switch them to high they sound and look fantastic. These babies go up to 1200 RPMs and with sound going you can hear squat. I installed one fan on the bottom of the case to blow air up and two of these went across the top as exhaust fans. The LED light is just right and looks gorgeous.
I’m super pleased with these fans as they kept my GPU cool combined with my two fans that came with my case. With 5 fans going I can keep an overclocked GTX 1070 Founder’s Edition under 70c easily. I set the bottom fan on high to push the hot air up into the top fans which are set at medium speed. Any excess air goes out the back and the heat from the HDD from the front gets pushed towards the center.
